Bhan group welcomes new graduate students

The Bhan group welcomes two first year graduate students, Thomas Lin (left) and Brian Bayer (right). Thomas (B.S. Chemical Engineering, University of California Berkeley, 2019) will be working on COx hydrogenation for direct higher alcohol synthesis, while Brian (B.S. Chemical Engineering, Purdue University, 2019) will work on oxidative nitrogen fixation by plasma catalysis while co-advised with Prof. Peter Bruggeman in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UMN.

Sukaran Arora defends doctoral dissertation

Sukaran Arora successfully defends his doctoral dissertation: "Strategies to modulate selectivity and improve stability in methanol-to-hydrocarbons catalysis on zeolites/zeotypes".

Jamie Harris joins University of Alabama

July 25th, 2019
Jamie Harris leaves the Bhan group as a postdoc to join the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department at the University of Alabama as an assistant professor in all 2019. We all wish Jamie the best for his future!
